This group is responsible for the development, co-ordination and strategic deployment of patrol and response resources to deter, disrupt and take enforcement action against criminal and anti-social behaviour.

The group includes the Police, monitored CCTV, Town and Neighbourhood Wardens, the Youth Anti-social Behaviour Action Team (YASBAT), Stockport Security Services, Environmental Health Services, Tenancy Enforcement and Health Service security services, Road Safety and other related services.

Issues covered include:

• Police, security and ranger services on the streets to deter criminals and help the public
• Better use of CCTV
• Making best use of available powers to take action against anti-social behaviour
