Alcohol Related Crime & Disorder (ACID) is a multi-agency group which provides a co-ordinated approach to dealing with crime and disorder linked to alcohol. The group includes representatives from Greater Manchester Police, Stockport MBC Licensing, the Primary Care Trust and the Community Safety Unit. ACID has been active in such areas as implementing the Town Centre street drinking ban and promoting the Think Safe Drink Safe campaign.
